Students of the Month for May Students each month at SMS are nominated by a teacher or staff member based on their good character. Every nomination is put into a jar and a winner from each grade is randomly chosen to receive a certificate and displayed on our announcement wall. 8th Grade LEAD Graduation and Pool Party The Secaucus Police Department will be holding the LEAD graduation on Friday, June 16th and will be followed with the 8th grade pool party. For students interested and going to the pool party, please click the link for the permission slip.

8th Grade Dinner Dance The Annual Eighth Grade Dinner Dance will be held on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in thedining hall. The Dinner Dance will include a buffet dinner, beverages, dessert and a DJ for entertainment. This event issponsored by the Secaucus Middle School PTA, therefore there will be no cost to the student.
Summer Math Academy Please see the attached flyer for information about the 2017 Summer Math Academy. Any interested 7th grade student that meets the eligibility requirements must fill out an enrollment application.
Theater Club Trip On Thursday night, 70 students of Mrs. Sciscilo's theater club went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in New York City, along with Ms. Cunniff, Ms. Faro, Ms. Yennetti, and Mrs. Rodriguez. The students were one of the first audiences to see the show, as it opened for previews two nights before. The music and sets were spectacular and the students had a "sweet" time!
