SMS SGO VOLUNTEERS AT ST. PATRICK’S DAY CHILDREN’S EVENT During the afternoon of Saturday March 10th, students from the Secaucus Middle School SGO, under the direction of Ms. Palmisano, assisted at the St. Patrick’s Day Children’s Event coordinated by the town of Secaucus. The event, which was held at the Recreation Center, had activities for the young children of the town. Members of the SGO assisted with each activity station and helped the children create crafts, learn Irish Step Dancing, and decorate their own cupcake. Pictured are some of the students volunteering their time. Ms. Sue Flanagan, Events Coordinator for the Town of Secaucus, expresses her gratitude for all the student help. Ms. Palmisano would like to thank every participant from the SGO who volunteered their time & encourages all to continue being leaders of our school. SMS SGO HELPS MAKE TRICKY TRAY A SUCCESS!!! On Friday March 9th, students from the Secaucus Middle School SGO, under the direction of Ms. Palmisano, assisted at the annual PTA Tricky Tray event held in the school dining hall. Students helped set up for the event after school and then returned at night until 9 P.M. to serve refreshments, and run prizes to the winners. Tricky Tray Donation Drop Off March 8th! We have our last donation drop off for the Middle School Tricky Tray this Thursday, March 8th. You can park on the high school side and enter through the lower PAC. Donations can be brought to the Multimedia center from 6-8:00pm or sent in to the office with your child. Thank you in advance!
GOOGLE EXPEDITION PIONEER PROGRAM VISITS SMS SMS partnered with Google to bring the Expedition Pioneer Program to the school for the day. Students explored a variety of scientific concepts through augmented reality.
