Secaucus Middle School Halloween Costume Guidelines for Friday, October 30, 2026. Costumes are optional. All dressing, makeup, and colored hairspray must be done at home. Costumes must be school-appropriate, age-appropriate, and not disruptive. No violent, gory, gang-related, or inappropriate costumes. Masks of any kind are not permitted. No excessive face paint or fake blood. No props, including weapons or toy weapons. Costumes may not demean any ethnic group, race, religion, nationality, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or individual. Encourage respectful and sensitive costumes. No profanity, threatening, or violent words. All costumes must follow the SMS dress code. Costumes with shorts, skirts, or dresses must be an appropriate length.
